888 and Playtech sign Live Casino, RNG content deal for the US

Playtech announced Thursday the signing of a new multi-state agreement in the U.S. with 888 Holdings, which owns internationally renowned brands including the recently acquired William Hill, Mr. Green and SI Sportsbook.

As part of the deal, Playtech will provide its Live Casino and random number generator (RNG) games to 888casino, starting in New Jersey, with other states to follow.

This extended partnership follows Playtech’s premium Live Casino and RNG content on 888casino in several other regulated markets and is part of both companies’ expansion into the U.S. market.

Shimon Akad, Playtech Chief Operating Officer, said: “I am thrilled that our trusted partners, 888, have chosen to take our Live Casino and RNG games across multiple states, marking another exciting step in our expansion in the U.S. Live Casino is Playtech’s newest proposition to the U.S. market and it is giving operators the opportunity to diversify their offering, resulting in great demand for our industry-leading software. We are proud to be supporting 888casino in delivering the very best online entertainment experience to its U.S. audience and we look forward to continuing this successful partnership with a market-leading operator.”

Howard Mittman, who was appointed in April as President of 888 US, said: “We are pleased to expand our partnership with Playtech and offer its unique Live Casino and RNG content to players of 888casino in the US. This agreement will enhance the overall player experience by offering more entertaining and dynamic games, which is a key part of our content and product leadership strategy. We look forward to welcoming Playtech’s content and growing our partnership together.”

Earlier this month, 888 Holdings completed the sale of its entire B2C and B2B bingo businesses to Broadway Gaming Group’s Saphalata Holdings.
