The first weekend of the partypoker MILLIONS Online series has come to a close with five events kicking off proceedings. Day 1A of the MILLIONS Online #04 Main Event: $5M Gtd began on partypoker yesterday while the final day of the first tournament, the MILLIONS Online #01 Opener PKO: $250K Gtd, gets underway on Monday, December 13 at 8:05 p.m. GMT with Kirill Ivancov in pole position of the 139 remaining players.

MILLIONS Online Main Event Day 1A Recap
The first starting flight of the $5 million guaranteed MILLIONS Online Main Event concluded after play began on Sunday, December 12, with the 383 entrants looking to be among the 57 players who would make it through to Day 2. The United Kingdom’s Thomas Clack (18,128,668) finished Day 1A as the chip leader with Ali Imsirovic (17,180,703) and Pauli Äyräs (15,463,441) rounding out the top three chip stacks after their positive starts.

There were a host of partypoker ambassadors who took part in Day 1A of the Main Event; Joni Jouhkimainen (5,911,938), Matthew Staples, (5,539,866) and Yuri Dzivielevski (3,104,045) all piloted stacks over to the next stage.
However, Isaac Haxton, Mikita Badziakouski, Patrick Leonard, João Simão and Jamie Staples were unable navigate the first hurdle. This doesn’t mean their MILLIONS Online Main Event journey is over as there’s a trio of starting flights still to play out before Day 2 begins on Monday, December 27 at 8:05 p.m. GMT.
