This August, bestbet Jacksonville will be turning up the heat with their next big poker tournament festival. The Summer Heater series is set to run from Aug. 11-21, with 11 huge events on the schedule.
The centerpiece of the whole affair will be the $1,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, which will see players sit down to 25,000 in starting chips and 40-minute blind levels. The main event features two starting flights, with day 1A beginning at 12 PM EST on Friday, Aug. 19, and day 1B the next day on Saturday, Aug. 20.
Late arrivals need not worry since registration for the main event will remain open until the start of level 10. The event wraps up on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 12 PM EST, with the final table action live-streamed on twitch.tv/bestbetlive and on youtube.com/c/bestbetlive until a champion is determined.
Satellites for the main event start on Aug. 10, so there’s plenty of time to win your seat. There will be three MEGA satellites with a total of 30 seats guaranteed.
The Summer Heater tournament series will kick off with a $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em event that features five starting flights from Aug. 11–13. This event will have a unique payout structure with the pay scale based on unique players and not total entries.
The final table of the kickoff event will play out on Sunday, Aug. 14, and will also be live streamed on bestbetLIVE. Other highlights on the schedule include event no. 4: $300 H.O.E. on Monday, Aug. 15; event no. 5: $360 Monster Stack on Tuesday, Aug. 16; event no. 6: Big O eight-or-better also on Tuesday, Aug.16; and event no. 9: $660 six-max NLH on Thursday, Aug. 18.
