Chance Kornuth has put his luxury Las Vegas home up for sale for $3.5 million, double what he paid for it four years ago. Overlooking the iconic Las Vegas Strip, the two-story property covers more than 6,000 square feet in Southern Highland.

Perched at the top of the neighbourhood, the house takes full advantage of the incredible desert scenes with multiple balconies and a rooftop terrace with a view of The Strip.

Kornuth bought the six bedrooms and six bathrooms home off-plan in 2018 for $1.65 million and it was completed the following year. He later upgraded different areas, adding a glass wine cellar, game room and an entertainment loft.

Although the Las Vegas luxury market isn’t on the level of Southern California, it still has its share of pricy homes up for sale. Currently, there are seven listed for more than $10 million including a 9,400-square-foot showplace for an eye-watering $21 million.

The Ivan Sher Group of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices holds the listing for the property.

“Designed to blend beautifully with its natural surroundings, this modern villa on a half-acre lot in Southern Highlands boasts a private entry courtyard with a fireplace that acts as an open-air living room. Step inside the six-bedroom, seven-bath two-story residence, however, and space expands around you.” Gretchen Wills, the real estate agent handling the listing, said: “The community, Southern Highlands, is the number one thing drawing people there. There has been a wait-list for the community for a few years, especially with the Raiders and Golden Knights coming to Vegas as well.”
