FansUnite Adds Payments Expert Williams as Payments Director

Sports technology firm FansUnite Entertainment announced the appointment of Dennis Williams to the role of Payments Director to facilitate its continued business expansion.

FansUnite announced the addition of industry veteran Dennis Williams this week to commence its business in 2022 and continue on the upward trajectory set in 2021. The payments industry veteran that is expected to have a key role in continuing FansUnite’s expansion is set to begin his role on January 10, 2022.

Commenting on the appointment, FansUnite chief operation officer Ian Winter outlined the level of expertise in “payment processing and payment systems” Williams has, embodying “insight and ability to innovate,” features that would be key to the implementation of the company’s “corporate expansion strategy.”

Williams will be tasked with oversight of FansUnite’s payment solutions to streamline payments across casino, iGaming, esports, and sports betting divisions and at the same time introduce new systems to utilize fiat and cryptocurrency payment options and speed up monetization of the company’s Chameleon Gaming Platform.

In charge of all payment solutions across FansUnite’s entire portfolio of brands, including UK-based McBookie, Brazil-based VamosGG, and white label partners such as MoneyLine Sports, Williams, who will be reporting directly to COO Winter, will also have to implement protocols for minimizing fraud and optimizing payment experience.

William’s most recent role was at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), the single business entity licensed to provide casino, lottery, and online gambling in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BA), serving as Payments Senior Specialist.

During his period with the BCLC, Williams was instrumental in all payments-related strategies deployed by the gaming organization, including the identification and implementation of innovative solutions to facilitate payments processing.

Williams’ industry experience also includes a role as Director of Payment Processing for a prominent European online poker network.
