PokerStars Cancels Sunday’s WCOOP Events

PokerStars canceled its highly anticipated slate of Sunday events after technical difficulties on Sunday.

A total of six events were scheduled for the day, including PokerNews coverage of the $1,050 Main Event and the $10,300 WCOOP NLH World Championship. Play was halted early in the day and players went on an unscheduled break. Prior to the end of the break, PokerStars made the official announcement via their Twitter:

Players will receive the “Roll Forward” treatment, meaning their buy-in and fees will be returned. The leftover prize pool will see half spread evenly amongst the players and the other half spread according to chip count.
