Top 2022 NHL Matches to Must Bet On Week 15: Friday to Sunday Games

In terms of the NHL schedule, it appears as though we can now put the game postponements in the rearview mirror. That said, it does mean that we are going to see a pretty jam-packed schedule over the next few weeks, with the teams most affected by the postponements rushing to play catch-up. You do have to wonder how cramming so many games into a short time period is going to affect those teams in terms of injuries and such. It will certainly be interesting to keep an eye on. For now, though, our full attention is on the weekend schedule and the games that we consider to be must watch and wager against the NHL odds, so let’s get to it.

NHL Must Bet Games: Only Weekend Games – Friday – Sunday

Minnesota Wild at New York Rangers – Friday

This is an absolute standout on the Friday schedule, as there is a better than average chance that both of these teams will still be playing beyond the end of the regular season. The Rangers are in a rich vein of form at the moment and are sitting atop the Metropolitan Division. The Rangers have won 2 in a row and 7 of their last 10. The Wild are down in 4th in the Central, but they are one of the teams who have games in hand to the teams ahead of them. They have gone 6-2-2 in their last 10 games and are on a 3-game winning streak at the moment.

Vegas Golden Knights at Tampa Bay Lightning – Saturday

With Canadian teams hit especially hard during the most recent COVID outbreak, the Pacific Division looks a little different at the moment. While the Flames and Oilers have been missing games, the Golden Knights have been picking up wins and moving to the top of the division. They will have a tough one on Saturday night, though, as they will be on the road to face the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa is flying high right now and have picked up 7 wins in their last 10 games.

Vancouver Canucks at Calgary Flames – Saturday

The Flames have seen their season heavily disrupted due to COVID, but they appear to be getting back on track after shaking off the rust of all those missed games. They are currently on a 2-game win streak that has seen them outscore their opponents 13-1. They have a ton of games in hand and a lot still to play on home ice, so watch out for the Flames in the second half of the season. Saturday will see them host a Vancouver team that is on a slide after losing 3 in a row. Can they turn that around this weekend, or will the Flames offense continue to soar?

LA Kinga at Pittsburgh Penguins – Sunday

The Kings have to be feeling the heat a little, as they will almost certainly be aware that the Flames are creeping up on them in the Pacific Division. As it stands now, though, the Kings are in 3rd and clinging to that automatic playoff berth. While they are a couple of games above .500 on the road this season, this game is going to be a tough one for them. The Penguins are on fire and are currently on a 6-game winning streak, as well as winning 8 of their last 10 games.
