After a relatively quiet couple of weeks following a sensational Breeders’ Cup, the North American horse racing calendar gets very busy this upcoming weekend over the extended Thanksgiving holiday period.
Most of the focus will be on Churchill Downs, which winds down its fall meet with five final days of action. The main events are on Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26 – the Clark Stakes Presented by Norton Healthcare on Friday for older horses, and the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes and Golden Rod Stakes on Saturday for 2-year-old colts/geldings and 2-year-old fillies, respectively.
Races from Churchill Downs and Aqueduct (which will also conduct four graded stakes over the long weekend) will be showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races.” The show, presented by America’s Best Racing, will also feature racing from Tampa Bay Downs (which opens its 2022-23 meet on Wednesday, Nov. 23) and from Fair Grounds. “America’s Day at the Races” airs on FS2 and FS1 – see the below schedule for air times (no show on Saturday, Nov. 26).
FanDuel TV will present comprehensive coverage of Del Mar’s Bing Crosby meet (including four graded stakes) as well as racing from Woodbine, Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park, and many other tracks (including Aqueduct and Churchill).
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
