During the recent edition of SAGSE Latam 2022, held in Buenos Aires City at the end of March, Yogonet spoke exclusively with Chris Rowe, Managing Director, EMEA & LATAM at Aristocrat, who highlighted the products presented at the event, made a positive assessment of its presence at the Argentinean show, and announced that this year the company is looking to expand its commitment to the different Latin American markets.
SAGSE Latam 2022 was a special edition in many senses, given its 30th anniversary, its new March dates and location, and its in-person return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Why have you decided to attend this year, and how would you describe Aristocrat’s experience there?
It was a great opportunity to reunite with our clients face-to-face as the world returns to a more normal state. It was also a great opportunity for us to showcase our investment in our local team and product.
Which were Aristocrat’s flagship products there?
On the stand, we showcased our award-winning Helix+™ and Helix XT™ cabinets with new games. We had eight EGMs on display, and we also leveraged our new Augmented Reality sales tool “ARea”, to show our customers our extensive global portfolio in an interactive and realistic way.

Carlos Carrion (Director, Product & Marketing – LATAM) has also participated as a speaker at SAGSE Talks, to analyze gaming mechanics evolution over time. Could you outline key highlights or concepts of this analysis?
Carlos spoke about the evolution of games in casinos during the last ten years, including how games have evolved from free games and multipliers to real or perceived persistence. Hold & Spin revolutionized the gaming industry on games like Lightning Link™ and Dragon Link™, and we are so proud of this success. In Aristocrat we are constantly innovating to offer the best gaming experience and the introduction of new games mechanics is part of our commitment.

Which are your plans and goals for Latam this year?
Our goal is to elevate the three principles that guided us into the new normal. We will keenly focus on our employees, our customers, and amplify our commitment to our business in Latin America. Our team in the region have partnered with our customers to deliver outstanding service and solutions during these past two years. We believe we found a little magic in this formula and look forward to building on its success.
