Formula One teams Red Bull Racing and Mercedes F1 have been in Las Vegas to showcase what fans can expect when the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix comes to town in 2023. Both teams brought cars for demonstration runs down the iconic Strip with one car even running through the Wynn Casino.
Glitz and Glamour
Formula One is known for its glitz and glamour just as much as Sin City. Combine the two and we can expect to see something special next year.
While the United States has plenty of its own homegrown racing categories such as IndyCar, Formula One cars are by far the quickest racing cars in the world today. The sport’s popularity has grown in the country over the last decade following the success of the popular Circuit of the Americas in Texas so we can expect demand for race tickets and hotel rooms to skyrocket for the week next year.
There is even a poker connection with Red Bull Racing being sponsored by PokerStars currently.
Tickets are already on sale with the cheapest being $500 and most expensive as much as $10,000. The event will take place November 16-18, 2023 but anyone interested should book quickly to avoid disappointment. Also, any poker players looking to book a cheap deal in Las Vegas over that week might want to pick another time as hotel room space is certain to be limited and massively more expensive than usual.
