TK Miles Leads The Final Table of the 2022 Card player Poker Tour bestbet Jacksonville Main Event

The final table is set in the 2022 Card Player Poker Tour bestbet Jacksonville $3,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event. The event attracted a field of 224 entries, building a prize pool of $604,800. After the two starting flights and another full day of action, there are now just eight players remaining with a chance at the title and the first-place prize of $138,481.

The chip leader heading into the final table is TK Miles. The Florida-based poker pro (pictured above) has $4,628,926 in lifetime live tournament earnings, including a runner-up finish in the 2013 CPPT main event here at bestbet Jacksonville. His second-place showing in that $1,100 buy-in event earned him $76,598. Miles bagged up 1,990,000, which will be good for 99.5 big blinds when action resumes with betting limits of 10,000-20,000 and a big blind ante of 20,000.

Jeff TrudeauThe next-largest stack at the table belongs to 10-time World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring winner Jeff Trudeau (1,885,000). He is in a great position to add to his $2.8 million in recorded tournament earnings with a strong showing in this event.

Dustin Nelson (1,305,000) and Matthew Leecy (1,090,000) are the only other players with more than a million in chips. Nelson has more than $800,000 in prior earnings, while Leecy has over a million dollars in scores to his name.

Recent World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Tampa main event runner-up Fred Paradis sits in fifth chip position (780,000), while Jacksonville cash game regular John O’Neal (775,000) is not far behind. O’Neal’s top live tournament score came when he finished third in the CPPT main event here in 2019 for $30,898. He has more than $330,000 in cashes over his career.

WSOPC ring winner Pablo Crump sits in seventh chip position with 570,000, while Chongyou Chen is the short stack. Chen, who won the second event of this series and finished as the runner-up in the $1,700 mystery bounty event, won the final hand of the night. He shoved with AClub SuitQSpade Suit and received a call from short stack Lunique Petiote, who held ASpade SuitJHeart Suit. Chen’s hand held up and Petiote was sent to the rail in ninth place ($13,848).

While Day 2 ended with Petiote’s elimination, it began with 64 players remaining. Only the top 28 made the money, and plenty of notables fell before the bubble burst, including Kelley Slay, David Tuthill, Nghia Le, and bracelet winner Byron Kaverman.

Big names that made the money, but fell short of the final table, included the likes of Toby Boas (27th), Hunter Cichy (26th), Kelly Slay (23rd), 2019 WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble champion Josh Adkins (22nd), 2021 third-place finisher of this event Dustin Holladay (17th), two-time WPT champion Sam Panzica (15th), and Andrew Ostapchenko (12th).

When day 2 officially came to a close, there was 49:30 remaining in level 20 (10,000-20,000 with a big blind ante of 20,000). Matthew Leecy has the button in seat 1.

The final table will resume at 2:00 PM local time tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 14). The final table action, with hole cards, will be broadcast on bestbet LIVE, the card room’s popular YouTube, and Facebook Live channel.
