Mo Town Filly Fastest At OBS March Sale’s Under Tack Opener – Horse Racing News

Hip No. 2, a daughter of Mo Town consigned by Tom McCrocklin, Agent, sped a quarter in :20 4/5 in the final group of the day, posting the fastest work at the distance at the opening session of the Under Tack Show for Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s expanded 2023 March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training.

The dark bay or brown filly is out of Salty Soul, by Itsmyluckyday, a daughter of stakes placed Pyramyst.

One horse worked a quarter in :21 flat. Hip No. 66, a son of Catalina Cruiser consigned by Tom McCrocklin, Agent. The bay colt is out of Special Code, by Ghostzapper, a half sister to grade one stakes winner Mani Bhavan.

Ten horses shared honors for the session’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5.
