Why bet on New England versus Carolina?

Mac Jones has figured it out. The rookie quarterback from Alabama has played sensationally in New England’s last couple. Versus the Jets, Jones threw for 307 yards and 2 TDs. Against the Chargers, Jones threw for 217 yards. Mac didn’t throw a TD versus LAC. But he also didn’t throw an interception. In fact, in his first season, Jones has thrown 9 TDs to just 6 picks, and he hasn’t thrown an INT in the Patriots last two games.

Why bet on Carolina versus New England?

In NFL Week 8, the Carolina Panthers broke a 4-game losing streak with a terrific 19-13 win. The most impressive part of the victory was how quarterback Sam Darnold played smart football and how the defense stepped it up against a high-scoring offense. If the defense and Darnold play a similar game on Sunday, the Panthers will not only cover the spread but should have a good shot of winning this straight up.

New England Patriots at Carolina Panthers Final Betting Prediction

Carolina beat the Atlanta Falcons on the moneyline as a road spread underdog, but we should put the victory in perspective. The Falcons were without wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

Not only did Ridley decide to take some time off for mental health reasons, but he told the ATL a few hours before the game. Atlanta had to change their game plan before facing the Panthers.

Carolina still struggled to win the game. Darnold didn’t throw an interception. But he completed just 13-of-24 for 129 yards and had to leave the contest due to a possible concussion.

Darnold will play on Sunday, which should make Bill Belichick giddy with excitement. The former New York Jet has no shot of beating the Patriots’ surging defense.

Almost as important? Mac Jones and the the Pats should score close to 30 against a tired Panthers’ defense. New England rolls to an easy win and cover.
