Sega Sammy Puts New Person at the Helm with Naoki Kameda

The company announced last Friday that it is appointing Naoki Kameda as its new CEO and president and added that Koichi Fukazawa will be moved as chairman of the board. The company hailed the experience of its new chief executive, who will be able to help the company with its next phase of development and expansion.

An Important Man at the Helm

Kameda brings extensive international experience that will help establish him as a trusted and reliable leader in the company. He holds more than 25 years of experience in various parts of the entertainment industry. Kameda similarly worked on projects with Sega Enterprises in the past, including an indoor theme park, Tokyo Joypolis.

Kameda has worked as a director at Sega of America and as a chief operating officer and financial officer for Sega Networks. In a word, he is a seasoned veteran who knows how to steer the company forward. Commenting on his appointment, Kameda did not mince his words and said that he was absolutely thrilled to be a part of the company moving forward.

Sega Sammy Creation Group is still a newcomer to the gaming industry, but we have a very strong team to create and deliver machines and content, with long experience in Sega Sammy’s entertainment domain.
