UFC Fight Night: Holloway Vs Rodriguez Betting Odds & Picks

If you are looking for title fights this weekend, you are going to need to look outside the UFC, as there are a couple of big fights taking place in other MMA organizations. That said, I would still suggest checking out UFC Vegas 42, as they have a very solid main card on offer this weekend. All told, there are 5 fights set to go on the main card, with the action set to begin at 1 PM EST on ESPN+. We have all the latest UFC odds for those fights lined up, so let’s get into the previews and predictions for UFC Vegas 42.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Holloway Vs Rodriguez

Yadong Song (-135) Vs Julio Arce (+105)

We get the main card rolling with a Bantamweight bout featuring a pair of very good fighters looking for a bit of a reversal of fortune. Song is 17-5-1 and looking to become a little more consistent after going 2-1-1 in his last 4 fights. It is much the same story for Arce, who has 2 wins and 2 losses in his last 4, although in fairness, both losses came via split decision, so he might feel a little aggrieved. I like this one to go the distance, with Song getting the decision.

Miguel Baeza (-145) Vs Khaos Williams (+115)

Next up is a Welterweight bout featuring a pair of fighters looking to move up the weight class rankings. Baeza won his first 3 fight under the UFC banner before losing last time out to fall to a 10-1 career mark. Williams was on an 8-fight winning streak before taking a loss and rebounding with a win to move to 3-1 in his time with the UFC. There is always the danger of Williams landing a KO blow, but I think it will be Baeza who grinds out the win.

Felicia Spencer (-310) Vs Leah Letson (+250)

The ladies are up next for a Featherweight bout, with the favorite here in real need of a win. Spencer is still considered the #2 fighter in the weight class, but she has lost 2 in a row and 3 of her last 5 fights, so she won’t stay ranked that high for long of this losing trend continues. Letson comes in with a 5-1 mark after bouncing back with a win after her first career loss. I am worried about Spencer’s form, but she should be good enough to get the decision in this one.

Ben Rothwell (-160) Vs Marcos Rogerio de Lima (+130)

The co-main event of the night will see a pair of bruising Heavyweight fighters go toe-to-toe in what should be a fun fight. Rothwell is 39-13, but at 40 years of age, you do have to wonder how much he has left in the tank, especially when you consider that his fights very often go the distance. De Lima is 18-7-1 and is on a run that has not seen him win back-to-back fights since 2014. I think it will be Rothwell who gets the decision win.

Max Holloway (-735) Vs Yair Rodriguez (+510)

We close out the night with a Featherweight bout that sees Max Holloway trying to claw his way back to another title shot. After losing consecutive fights to the champion, Holloway won last time out, with that fight coming way back in January. Rodriguez is definitely a tricky opponent, as he is 13-2 and has just 1 loss in 10 fights with the UFC. Holloway is in as a strong favorite here and I think he gets the KO win in the later rounds.
